Saskatoon’s major crime section and the provincial coroner are investigating the sudden death of a 13-year-old girl.
Police responded to an address on the 400 block of Avenue S South, near 19th Street last Sunday where the teenager was in medical distress.
She was taken to hospital for treatment, police said in a media release.
On Tuesday she died in the hospital.
Wednesday’s media release did not offer details on what caused her death or her identity as the investigation continues.
Earlier on Wednesday police shared details of another sudden death investigation involving a 32-year-old woman who was found dead in a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.
