A 30-year-old man is facing a second-degree murder charge in connection with the first murder of the year in Moose Jaw.
Jeffrey McCaig was to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday.
A media release from the Moose Jaw Police Service identified the victim as 50-year-old Kevin Hallock.
Police were called to the 400 block of Stadacona Street East just after 10 p.m., on Sunday for a report of a disturbance.
Officers arrived and found a male who had been stabbed. He was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is continuing.
