650 CKOM has learned the Saskatchewan Roughriders have decided to start back-up quarterback Isaac Harker in Saturday afternoon’s game against the Edmonton Eskimos.
This comes after Cody Fajardo pulled a back muscle earlier this week.
Harker saw limited action this season. The rookie quarterback out of the Colorado School of Mines completed 21 of 33 attempts for 254 yards in a backup role. Saturday will mark Harker’s first career CFL start.
Kick off at Mosaic Stadium is 2 p.m.
