Man suffers minor injuries after hit crossing street

A 51-year-old man hit by a car while crossing the street suffered minor injuries Sunday evening.

Police were called around 7:50 p.m. where they say he was hit by a vehicle at 8th Street and Dufferin Avenue.

The 45-year-old driver was charged with driving without due care and attention under the Traffic Safety Act.
