The mayor witnessed the overdose death of a 31-year-old man while on a ride-along with police last month, and says it hammered home the need for a new approach to drug issues. Regina Lawyer Jeff Deagle has represented clients who have gone through Regina’s drug court, and he says the program is definitely beneficial although space is very limited.
