Investigators have deemed a house fire in Meadowgreen suspicious.
The Saskatoon fire Department received a 911 call reporting a house fire in the 200 Block of Avenue X South just before 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
Black smoke was coming from the front of the house when crews arrived. The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished.
There was no one in the home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
Assistant fire Chief Wayne Roger said on Tuesday the fire was incendiary.
Saskatoon police have assigned an investigator to the case, but have not laid charges.
