An early morning fire in the Meadow Green area sent one man to hospital on Saturday.
Saskatoon firefighters responded to an apartment building on the 500 block of Avenue X south at 2:23 a.m.

After one hour of work, crews got the blaze under control and were able to search the remaining apartment suites and attic areas.
