Saskatoon police have charged four men with manslaughter in connection to the city’s 13th murder of 2019.
The four men — aged 21, 23, 25 and 37 — were additionally charged with breaking and entering and committing assault with a weapon as a result of an investigation on Howell Avenue by the major crimes unit.
Officers were called to a home in the 100 block of Howell Avenue just after 5 a.m. Saturday.
When they arrived, officers discovered a man was hurt.
He was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Each of the accused men will go before a justice of the peace to answer to the charges.
Police do not believe the incident is random in nature or that there is any risk to the public.
