Three brothers in Kansas are trying to find something positive as farmers deal with a challenging harvest season.
It comes as the latest Saskatchewan crop report shows just 23 per cent is in the bin, compared with the five year average of 50 per cent for this time of year.
Uncooperative weather including the damp end to summer is a major factor, according to the report.
The Peterson Farm Bros have re-shared their parody of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck called Tractorstuck, all about getting stuck in waterlogged fields.
They say the song is also a metaphor for the challenges of farming.
“Lots of farm families and people outside of farming as well are undergoing tough times right now. Rising inputs, low market prices, Severe weather, ” their Facebook post with the video read. “It’s important to remember that the tractor will get pulled out. There is always hope for better times.”
Despite originally being posted on YouTube in 2018 a new upload on Facebook, posted on Monday, has gained more than one million views.
