Saskatoon police are warning the public to stay away from harmful drugs after emergency crews responded to five overdoses over a 30-hour period.
Between Friday and Saturday, four of the five overdose calls involved illicit drug use, including one death.
Police continue to warn the public not to take any drugs that were not prescribed by a doctor, or dispersed by a pharmacist. Taking drugs under those circumstances poses a very serious risk of injury of death.
