A 36-year-old man is facing numerous charges after he was found in possession of nearly 100 ID and credit cards.
According to police, officers stopped a man Monday evening on the Meewasin Trail near the University Bridge for riding without a light on his bike.
They discovered he had outstanding arrest warrant.
Police say after handing over his backpack, the suspect fled on his bike. After a brief altercation he was arrested.
Inside the backpack were 85 pieces of government issued ID and four credit cards. None belonged to him.
The suspect is charged with possession of stolen property, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
