A police officer with the Saskatoon bike patrol unit was sent to hospital after being hit by a truck Friday morning.
The 38-year-old officer was patrolling downtown along 22nd street in the curbside lane, when the truck went to pass her, and the officer was hit by the truck’s mirror.
She suffered minor injuries and was sent to hospital.
The 25-year-old female driver of the truck has been charged with driving without due care and attention.
