A 17-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with Saskatoon’s 11th homicide of 2019.
Police were dispatched to the 3800 block of Fairlight Drive on Sunday at 5:10 a.m., after getting a report of an injured person. Paramedics transported the 22-year-old man to hospital, where he later died.
The suspect was arrested not long after police responded. The teen, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, made his first court appearance Monday.
He will be back in court Wednesday.
