Zoo manager, Tim Sinclair-Smith, says Ma’s health has been getting worse, and the difficult decision was made to say a final goodbye next week.
Ma is believed to be 47 years old and has been at the zoo since 1974. The normal lifespan for a capuchin monkey in captivity is 40 years.
