Alberta RCMP have confirmed that three of the victims of Tuesday’s multi-vehicle fatal crash in that province are from Saskatoon. All three adults died in the fiery crash.
Corporal Jon Cormier told 650 CKOM that the identities of the three wouldn’t be released at this time.
Three people died and 10 others injured when 10 vehicles crashed in a construction zone on Highway 9 in central Alberta near the Saskatchewan border.
Two semi-trailer trucks hauling fuel were involved in the collision causing a huge fire and smoke that could be seen for miles, and resulted in the hamlet of Chinook being evacuated for about three hours.
The collision is still under investigation.
