A 22-year-old man was arrested for uttering threats and having bear spray on Monday night.
This is the third reported bear spray incident in the past couple of days.
He was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and uttering threats.
At around 9:30 p.m., officers were called to a parking lot on the 3400 block of 8th Street East.
As CKOM reported last week, the east side’s biggest hot spot for crime is one block over from that area.
Police saw a commotion involving around 20 people. They were told about an argument between two of them.
The suspect allegedly tried to intervene in the argument by waving around a can of bear spray.
He left the scene before police arrived, but they quickly found and arrested him.
