Turtleford RCMP received a call about a home invasion that happened in a rural residence southeast of Glaslyn Sunday.
A man in the home heard noises at his back door, and when he approached, several men wearing masks forced their way into the house and assaulted him.
His injuries were minor and he didn’t require medical treatment.
The victim said one of the men had a gun. The suspects left the property in the vehicle they showed up in, and also stole a vehicle from the property.
Police are looking for a muddy, black Jeep CJ two-door with wide tires and black rims. They are also looking for a 1983 Dodge Ramcharger SUV with black paint on top, and grey/brown primer on the bottom. The vehicle has Saskatchewan license plate 213 LEY. This is the stolen vehicle, so police say the suspects may have since changed the license plate.
If you see these vehicles, do not approach them as the occupants could be armed. You are asked to call 9-1-1 or RCMP immediately.
