The re-build can be tough to watch as your favourite team goes through it. It happens in every sport.
Some owners and General Mangers hate the world “re-build” and prefer “re-load”.
Let’s be honest, the Jays are re-building.
Blue Jays fans had to endure another dose of reality Wednesday as Marcus Stroman made what many believe is his last mound appearance in a Toronto uniform.
The six year veteran has that tie to the 2015 and 2016 seasons when the team played in back to back American League Championship Series’.
It was just three or four short years ago that players like Price, Martin, Bautista and Pillar played for one one of the best teams in baseball.
One of the players on those teams was Marcus Stroman, who may now be on the way out too.
Suddenly three or four years ago seems like ancient history…even more so with the pending departure of Stroman.
