Environment Canada says storms packing a major punch will be popping up across the province Wednesday.
Meteorologist Terri Lang says winds over 100 kilometres, flooding rains, large hail along with the chance of a tornado are all a possibility.
“We want everyone to take every thunderstorm seriously and take the precautions before the storm actually hits,” said Lang.
Lang says right now the forecasts shows the storm will hit between Saskatoon and Regina, with the biggest risk south of Highway 16.
“It’s like looking at a pot of boiling water and trying to figure out where the first bubble comes up and then figure out where the next bubble comes up and then the next one.”
Lang says heavy winds are also expected overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.
