'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
A Saskatoon boy escaped unscathed from a local hardware store after locking himself inside a display model safe Monday afternoon.
Saskatoon police and firefighters were called to the Peavey Mart store on 51st Street to assist in freeing the boy.
There’s no word how long he was locked inside for, but officials said the young boy did have an i-Pad to help pass the time.
The store said the boy wasn’t hurt, but declined to comment further on the incident.
