Saskatoon police were forced to use a taser Friday night while trying to subdue a suspect.
In a media release, police said officers found the wanted 33-year-old man on the 900 block of Spadina Crescent around 6 p.m.
He was combative and assaulted an officer while police were attempting to arrest him, the release explained.
Eventually, a taser was used to get control of the situation.
Police charged the man with drug trafficking, dangerous driving, and assaulting an officer.
The use of the taser situation will be reviewed.
