A call about a possibly impaired driver Wednesday night turned into a life-saving mission in Saskatoon’s Dundonald neighbourhood.
Police responded to the 100 block of Wedge Road around 11:40 p.m. and found a Ford Taurus had hit a parked Hyundai Santa Fe.
Officers noticed the 23-year-old woman inside the Taurus appeared to be suffering from an overdose and administered several doses of Narcan, which can block the effects of an overdose.
Medavie paramedics and Saskatoon firefighters helped to revive her then transported her to the hospital.
Police continue to investigate the collision and have not released any information about charges.
