8:30 – RCMP announced an arrest yesterday in a missing persons case dating to 2015 that’s now alleged to be a homicide. Police arrested Greg Furtuck, and charged him with first-degree murder and offering an indignity to human remains in connection with the disappearance of his estranged wife, Sheree Fertuck. Sheree was last seen Dec. 7, 2015 when she left her family farm near Kenaston in her gravel truck, and the truck was later found abandoned in a nearby gravel pit with Fertuck’s belongings inside, but her remains still have not been located. Noted Saskatchewan Defence Lawyer Aaron Fox joins John now to discuss the tricky nature of investigating and prosecuting a homicide case without a body.

Prof. Berdahl joins John now to discuss regional values in Canada and how regional politics can influence our perceptions.
