An 18-year-old man is facing charges after a police chase early Tuesday morning.
A canine officer out on patrol reportedly spotted a stolen Ford Expedition around 2:30 a.m. near 20th Street West and Avenue N South.
According to a police media release, the driver sped off once he was seen.
The police plane was brought in to track the vehicle and reportedly saw it crash in an alley off Palmer Crescent.
Officers on the ground were able to track the suspect into a backyard, where he was arrested.
A second suspect who also fled from the vehicle remains at large.
The 18-year-old suspect faces charges including dangerous driving, evading police and possession of methamphetamine.
