Someone having a backyard fire turned into a full blown emergency in Saskatoon.
Just after midnight on Saturday, fire crews were called to a burning garage in Brevoort Park.
Fire crews quickly had the fire under control.
Investigators determined hot embers fell out of an outdoor fire place causing the deck to catch fire which spread to the garage.
The owners were not hurt.
Damage is estimated at $40,000.
