A 28-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot on Saturday.
The unidentified man is being treated for non life-threatening injuries following an altercation in the area of 23 Street and Avenue I shortly before 11:30 p.m.
In a media release from Saskatoon Police, the shooting victim was said to be walking in the area when he was a approached by an armed man. A verbal exchange broke out that ended with the armed man shooting the 28-year-old.
