Murray Wood: It's time to pull over reckless people on scooters, bikes
Murray Wood says he's had too many close calls with people on scooters, bikes and skateboards. But he's never seen them ...
It didn’t take long for Saskatoon police to get their man.
Hours after issuing an arrest warrant, Jamie Terrence Halkett was located outside the city and taken into custody Thursday evening.
The 27-year-old is wanted in connection to the death of 32-year-old Robin Godfrey.
Godfrey was found dead outside an apartment complex on Avenue K South last month. Police said he had been shot.
According to police, Halkett is known to have street gang associations in Saskatoon.
He was already wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breach of parole at the time of Godfrey’s death.
Halkett has not yet been charged.
