A woman is facing charges following a fatal collision near the Battlefords.
RCMP announced Wednesday morning that Amber Rosette, 27, was charged with impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death, as well as impaired driving and dangerous driving causing bodily harm in relation to a crash Tuesday morning on Highway 4.
Police reported the collision happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday when a truck failed to stop at a stop sign coming off a grid road onto the highway, then struck the passenger side of another vehicle.
A 28-year-old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle that was hit was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rosette was due to make her first appearance Wednesday morning in North Battleford Provincial Court.
