Saskatoon police used naloxone to revive a woman who had been suffering from a drug overdose.
Police were responding to a reported overdose in the 1700 block of Alexandra Avenue when officers discovered an unconscious woman on Thursday evening.
Being the first responder on the scene, the officer dispensed one can of Narcan, a medication used to block the effects of an opioid drug overdose.
The 25-year-old woman regained consciousness within minutes and was transported to a nearby hospital by Medavie Health Services West.
