A pick-up truck was captured on video taking a joyride through Saskatoon’s Northeast Swale on Sunday evening.
The nearly 50-second video filmed by a resident in Aspen Ridge shows a truck driving at low speed through the sensitive ecological area located in Saskatoon’s northeastern neighbourhood.
Warning: video contains offensive language
Police said they got two calls about the driver around 7:45 p.m, but the truck was gone by the time officers arrived.
The Meewasin Valley Authority, which oversees the conservation of the swale, said staff would be looking into whether any damage was caused.
