Saskatoon police say a woman who gave two other women a ride ended up getting carjacked at gunpoint.
The driver reportedly gave the two women a lift and was told to stop in an alley on the 300 block of Avenue Q South around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police said two men armed with handguns then came out and stole the vehicle, leaving the driver unhurt.
The stolen vehicle was later spotted on Diefenbaker Drive. Police tried to pull it over, but the driver took off.
Police backed off when the stolen vehicle was allegedly driven into oncoming traffic.
Officers spotted the vehicle again on 22nd Street near Avenue W. This time, a stop-stick failed to deflate the tires and the suspect got away.
