Saskatoon fire crews responded to a single vehicle crash west of Clavet Monday morning.
In a media release, the fire department said a pickup truck hit a tree when it left Melsness Road near Highway 11 just before 6:30 a.m.
The driver, the only person inside the vehicle, had to be extricated from the truck.
Crews laid a hose line in case fire broke out while they stabilized the vehicle and pulled the man out.
The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
