8:30 – Saskatchewan’s Energy and Resources Minister Bronywn Eyre spoke before a senate committee last week in opposition of Bill C-69, a bill which would overhaul the environmental review and approval process for many major projects in Canada. Eyre called on Trudeau to consider the job losses in the resource sector, saying the federal government must help struggling industries “whether it’s potentially SNC-Lavalin or whether it’s the oil and gas sector.” Eyre joins John now to discuss C-69 and how it might impact Saskatchewan’s resource industries.
