‘I have to get the puck’: Blades mic up Timbits player

The Saskatoon Blades joined the latest viral video craze over the weekend.

The team mic’d up a little boy named Kiefer as he played with the Martensville Ducks Friday at SaskTel Centre during intermission of the Blades’ game against the Regina Pats.

The video echoes a similar clip posted by a hockey dad in Barrie, Ont. in February that racked up over 7 million views.

The Blades went on to beat the Pats 4-0.
