Snowfall warning issued in central Saskatchewan

More than 10 centimetres (cm) of snow is expected to fall in parts of central Saskatchewan Saturday.

Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for communities along the Yellowhead Highway around Saskatoon.

Up to 15 cm of snow could fall by the time the band of snow shifts locations Saturday evening.

Environment Canada says communities ranging from the Battlefords to Wynyard will be affected by the snowfall.

Drivers are asked to use caution on the roads and adjust driving speed accordingly.
