Pinehouse RCMP is asking for help to locate Raymond Allan Montgrand.
Officials say the 49-year-old left Besnard Lake Correctional Camp Friday morning.
Staff at the camp near La Ronge noticed Montgrand was gone around 9 a.m. and believe he could be heading toward La Loche.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket.
Montgrand is described as five feet ten inches tall, weighing 190 pounds with a scar on the bridge of his nose.
He also has several tattoos including three stars on the corner of his left eye, two feathers on his left temple and the word love on his left hand.
Anyone with information about the 49-year-old’s whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP at 306-310-7267.
Because of the extreme cold conditions in northern Saskatchewan, officials urge you to call 911 immediately if you see him.
