For Murray Wood, Easter brings to mind grandma's practical advice about repurposing, and some of life's little lessons.
A kitten stolen from the Saskatoon SPCA has been returned a day after the furry critter was nabbed from the adoption floor.
A photo of the the 16-week-old cat named Captain Crunch was posted on the Saskatoon SPCA Facebook page Thursday evening saying he was returned unharmed and healthy.
“Our staff is overwhelmed with gratitude for the work our local media, veterinary clinics and concerned community members have done to help spread the word,” the post read.
Staff noticed the small kitten was missing on Tuesday, taken sometime between 4:15 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
The SPCA reported the animal missing shortly thereafter.
Captain Crunch was the 11th animal to go missing from the Saskatoon SPCA in the last five years.
