A 19-year-old man faces charges following a robbery at the Scotiabank on Kensington Boulevard.
Officers responded to the bank on the 100 block around 3:20 p.m. on Monday.
The suspect had run from the bank by the time they arrived.
Two members of the guns and gangs unit were in the area and helped to track him down.
Thanks to a bystander, police described as quick-thinking, the 19-year-old was found and arrested nearby.
Police recovered an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were no injuries reported during the incident.
