A five-year-old boy is recovering in hospital after being hit by a bullet in a shooting at a home on the Lac La Ronge First Nation.

Police found that the house had been shot at multiple times, with one of the bullets hitting an outside wall and injuring a five-year-old boy inside, an emailed RCMP news release said.
First responders did first aid on the boy, and then had him transported to the hospital.
His injuries are serious, but he is expected to survive.
Other people were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured.
Suspects fled the area before police arrived.
