Amanda Michayluk has been found dead in a farmers field just four kilometres from where she was last seen on Thursday.
The 34-year-old and her father were collecting firewood in a rural area about five kilometres south of Maidstone when their vehicle became stuck in the snow.
According to RCMP, she walked to try to find help when she became lost in white-out conditions.
Civilians assisting with the search discovered her body in a field on Friday.
An update from RCMP on Saturday said Michayluk died from exposure and hypothermia.
Mounties do not suspect foul play.
Michayluk’s family thanked Maidstone Fire and Rescue, Maidstone EMS, Lloydminster Rescue Squad, the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Officer and friends and family that assisted with the search.
