Murray Wood: It's time to pull over reckless people on scooters, bikes
Murray Wood says he's had too many close calls with people on scooters, bikes and skateboards. But he's never seen them ...
A team effort by Saskatchewan search and rescue, RCMP as well as local volunteers has re-united an 11-year-old girl with her mother.
Police said searchers were called out Thursday at around 5:00 p.m., after the girl’s mom got home to find her daughter missing.
The girl had been home sick that day.
Searchers scoured the area and eventually found a set of foot prints just outside the search area.
The foot prints lead to the girl, who was found face down in the snow by a frozen slough.
RCMP say fortunately STARS Air Ambulance was not needed.
The girl is being treated for injuries related to exposure and hypothermia.
