A 30-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman from Regina are in custody after a high-speed chase involving a stolen vehicle, according to a Saskatoon police media release.
RCMP first alerted Saskatoon police about the vehicle after it was reportedly stolen Tuesday evening from a business in Rosetown. The suspects were also believed to have been behind two other break-and-enters at businesses in that community.
A patrol car tried to stop the pair shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday on the edge of Saskatoon. Police said the man behind the wheel refused to stop.
The police plane then tracked the vehicle to a home in Caswell Hill, where officers on the ground moved in and arrested both suspects.
The pair face break-and-enter charges out of Rosetown. The man was also charged with dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
