A Saskatoon taxi driver suffered serious injuries Friday morning after being robbed and assaulted in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood.
Saskatoon police said in a release the 55-year-old driver was found by officers just after 3 a.m. on the 200 block of Avenue V. He was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Three people nearby were arrested in connection with the incident — a 19-year-old Saskatoon woman, 20-year-old Onion Lake woman and a 22-year-old Turtleford man.
There was no mention of any charges laid.
