A 31-year-old man is in hospital after Saskatoon police found him suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg on New Year’s Day.
Police said in a release Wednesday they received a report of an injured man on Steeves Avenue in the Confederation Park neighbourhood around 11 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found the man outside with a leg injury, and he was transported to hospital.
Police said early investigation suggests drugs may have been involved in the shooting, including methamphetamine.
