Warman RCMP believe alcohol was a factor in a head-on collision that killed an 11-year-old girl on Friday evening.
Mounties responded to a call about the crash on Highway 305 and Highway 11 around 6:40 p.m.
According to information in a media release, a white truck was travelling on Highway 305 when it was hit by a blue pick-up.
An 11-year-old girl in the white truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people in the same vehicle were transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
The man driving the blue truck, the only person in that vehicle, was also taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Mounties believe alcohol was a factor for the driver of the blue truck.
The investigation into the crash is on-going.
RCMP reported Highway 305 was fully re-opened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday after it had been closed to allow collision analysts to work at the scene of the crash.
