Saskatoon Transit is hoping to provide the best Christmas transportation option outside of Santa’s sleigh this holiday season.
The city bus service is bringing back a special route to help Christmas shoppers navigate between malls in the city.
Dubbed the Jingle Bell Express, bus route 1225 will take people to the Midtown Plaza, Confederation Mall, Lawson Heights, Centre Mall and Market Mall shopping centres.
The route will be available from Dec. 8 to Dec. 23 and will return Dec. 26 for Boxing Day.
Weekday service will be available from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and weekend service will run from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Regular fare will apply, but the bus will be free on Boxing Day and will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
