Two days of budget deliberations wrapped up Tuesday evening with Saskatoon City Council finalizing the property tax increase for 2019.
When the day started home owners faced a 4.5 per cent increase on their tax bill, but councillors managed to reduce the tax hit slightly to 4.4 per cent.
The 4.4 per cent hike works out to $79.52 annually for a home assessed at $371,000.
