Parking and lane restrictions are in effect Sunday as the Santa Claus Parade hits the streets of downtown Saskatoon for its 28th year.
Starting at 7 a.m. drivers will no longer have access to roads along the parade route within Idylwyld Drive, 23rd Street, 5th Avenue and 19th Street.
The parade will start at 19th Street and 3rd Avenue at 1 p.m. and travel toward 21st Street East turning right to continue along 4th Avenue South.
The route then travels up 22nd Street East before turning on 1st Avenue South to finish at Midtown Plaza.
This year the Humboldt Broncos serve as the parade grand marshalls.
Road restrictions will be lifted at 3 p.m. Sunday.
