A man accused of kidnapping someone, at gun point, not only faces a long list of serious charges, he is also being treated for a serious gun shot wound to the leg.
Around 4:00 a.m. Thursday, the suspect showed up at Saskatoon gas station with a sawed off shot and demanded the victim drive him out of the city.
While they were driving, the man with the gun changed his mind and decided he wanted to be the one behind the wheel.That’s when he dropped his gun.
It wound up going off, shooting the suspect in the leg, when he tried to get it back.
RCMP said the owner of the vehicle, pulled over, pulled the suspect out, and left him at the side of the road before driving off.
Both the suspect and the victim ended up calling 9-1-1.
