A former Saskatoon high school teacher entered guilty pleas Friday to child pornography-related charges.
Rhett Lundgren pleaded guilty in Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench to one count each of possessing child pornography and attempting to access child pornography. He also pleaded guilty to attempting to commit a sexual offence against a child.
Lundgren’s offences were allegedly related to a child between eight and 10 years old.
The former Walter Murray Collegiate teacher was arrested in December 2016 following a search of his home.
Lundgren is due to be sentenced on his Saskatoon matters on Jan. 9, 2019.
He still faces charges of sexual exploitation and child luring in Alberta, stemming from 2008 when he was a teacher in Red Deer.
